Huntington Beach's 103rd Annual Fourth of July Parade
A first time participant this year in Huntington Beach's 103rd Annual Fourth of July Parade, Teacher Created Materials walked away with the revered Float Sweepstakes trophy! The granddaddy of float recognition, the honor was certainly a proud moment for TCM employees and associates everywhere. The float featured a replica of an old-fashioned, one-room schoolhouse-a reminder of simpler times and of the ever changing needs of today's modern classroom. In addition, the ringing bell tower symbolized the universal call for education and served as a salute to teachers and students worldwide. Teacher Created Materials' employees and their families sat atop the float on old-time school desks and adorned the float in appropriate time-period costumes.
Teacher Created Materials took part in the popular Orange County parade as part of its yearlong anniversary celebrating 30 years of providing quality resources across the globe. Creative design and details of the schoolhouse were the result of the hard work and talents of TCM's very own Creative Director, Lee Aucoin, and her creative team. Congratulations to all!
