The Active Algebra series promotes a balanced approach to Pre-algebra and Algebra instruction. The series develops students' conceptual understanding and procedural proficiency by integrating manipulatives, systematic guided practice, and periodic assessments. All of the products in this series move students from the concrete to the abstract to application.
Active Algebra: Algebra I Crash Course promotes mastery of key Algebra I skills in a concentrated intervention model that includes re-teaching and reviewing. It includes pacing plans for four- and six- and nine-week sessions. Active Algebra: Algebra I Crash Course can be used in summer school, as Algebra I course review, credit recovery, or standardized test preparation.
