The Active Algebra series promotes a balanced approach to Pre-algebra and Algebra instruction. The series develops students' conceptual understanding and procedural proficiency by integrating manipulatives, systematic guided practice, and periodic assessments. All of the products in this series move students from the concrete to the abstract to application.
Active Algebra: Algebra Readiness pre-algebra program promotes mastery of the skills needed to be successful in Algebra I. Instruction focuses on developing students' conceptual understanding and procedural proficiency with foundational skills from grades 3-5 and targeted, key skills from grades 6-8. This program can be used as a supplement to a core program or as an intervention program for at-risk pre-algebra students.
