Exploring Nonfiction: Reading in the Content Areas is an exciting new program that helps students develop nonfiction reading skills and strategies in science, social studies, language arts, and mathematics. It provides a supportive, well-structured environment for reading informational text that is challenging, but not frustrating. The high-interest reading materials are presented in small doses, so students can stay focused and improve their reading and comprehension skills.
Level 1 includes a Teacher Resource Notebook, Resource CD-ROM, Lesson Plan Notebook, 60 Activity Cards, and 60 overhead transparencies.
