Exploring Nonfiction is an exciting program that helps students develop 12 distinct skills and strategies for reading nonfiction. Students need these skills and strategies in order to read effectively in all the content areas: science, social studies, language arts, and mathematics. The high-interest, nonfiction reading samples are provided by the authors of TIME For Kids magazine and are supplemented with extensive activities, lesson plans, and teaching resources
