Julie Sokol is a recognized thought leader, consultant, mentor and innovator, leveraging technology to drive organization effectiveness and company performance.
She is a graduate of California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, where she received a degree in Business Administration with specializations in marketing and accounting.
Biography
Julie was Senior Vice President of Innovation & Technology for Irvine Company, a diversified private real estate investment company for nearly 13 years where she led the overall performance and delivery of echnology across the company.
This included leading and managing the Company’s technology operations, infrastructure, security, project portfolio and business application functions, as well as leadership of the innovation team, which leveraged emerging technology to drive product and process change across the enterprise.
Additionally, she was responsible for the Marketing Technology function which includes management of much of the corporate digital marketing and online assets.
Previously, Julie was a partner with Accenture. During her 16-year tenure, she worked with globally recognized organizations across varied industries and in many countries, leading them through large scale transformation.
She is active in several non-profit organizations, including Girl Scouts of Orange County and OneOC. She also is extensively involved in technology strategy and STEM programs for local K-12 education.
