Our Mission

Teacher Created Materials develops innovative and imaginative educational materials and services for students, worldwide. Everything we do is created by teachers for teachers and students to make teaching more effective and learning more fun.

Civic Outreach

Teacher Created Materials is committed to giving back to our local community and the greater education community around the world. Our vision is to create a world in which children love to learn. We approach everything with this in mind, from our business and product development practices to our civic responsibility in the community.

Below are just some of the organizations that Teacher Created Materials supports.

Ability First

AbilityFirst is an organization that helps children and adults with developmental disabilities reach their personal best. When possible, Teacher Created Materials sends its product assembly projects to AbilityFirst to support the organization's goals and provide employment and job training opportunities.

Read Across America

Each year, on March 2, schools across the nation come together to celebrate the birthday and legacy of Theodore Geisel, more affectionately know as Dr. Seuss. On this day, the staff at Teacher Created Materials takes part in the celebration of literacy by reading books to students, doing literacy-based activities, and participating in school beautification activities. It is an event that no one in the company wants to miss!

Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer is a disease that affects many of us both directly and indirectly. Each October, Teacher Created Materials organizes creative fundraisers and commits to matching all employee donations to support breast cancer research.

Employee Philanthrophy Grants

Teacher Created Materials is passionate about supporting its employees as they pursue volunteer and charity work that is important to them. Each quarter, employees can apply for a monetary donation to the charity or organization of their choice. Teacher Created Materials funds all applications until the quarterly monetary cap is reached.

California State University Fullerton Scholarship Fund

Teacher Created Materials regularly donates to the CSUF endowment to fund scholarship awards from $1,000–$5,000 for educators working toward their Master's degrees in education.

Honor an Educator

California State University Fullerton organizes an annual event to honor local educators who are making a difference at their schools or districts. Teacher Created Materials is the leading sponsor of the event and nominates a deserving educator each year for the award.

Natural Disaster School Replenishment

When a natural disaster strikes, cleanup and restoration is an inevitable part of the rebuilding process. Replenishing books and curriculum in schools is often overlooked. Teacher Created Materials donates books and curriculum resources to schools in disaster relief areas to help get classrooms up and running again so that teachers can be successful.

Catarina's Club

According to research, children struggle to learn when their basic needs, such as food and shelter, are not met. Every fall, Teacher Created Materials participates in the Catarina's Club food drive to collect pasta, canned goods, and monetary donations from employees as well as local community members to stamp out child hunger in Orange County, CA.
