There are four 136-page Teacher's Guides - one for each of the four content areas - included with each kit. Each Teacher's Guide provides detailed guided practice lesson plans for all ten content cards (with two levels for each card).
Spark student curiosity with high-interest informational Text Cards featuring TIME FOR KIDS® content. Every kit has 80 text cards, 40 grade-level text cards and 40 below-grade-level text cards each for mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies. Each card has been created to teach two specific reading comprehension skills and strategies.
The front of the cards contain a variety of informational text types that students typically encounter within a given content area. The back of the cards provide discussion questions for before, during, and after reading; skill focus activities, key vocabulary, and a writing extension activity.
