Teedie: The Boy Who Would Be President 6-Pack for Georgia

As a young boy, Theodore Roosevelt, known as Teedie, was very sick. He had very bad asthma and the doctors didn't know how to treat it. Everyone expected Teedie to die young, but with hard work and determination, he overcame his sickness and became the President of the United States.

This leveled script features roles written at different reading levels, enabling teachers to use differentiation strategies. These strategies allow all students to engage in the same activity, regardless of their current reading level. All students can feel successful and can gain confidence in their reading fluency.

Students will practice reading aloud, interacting cooperatively, and using expressive voices and gestures while performing together. An accompanying poem and song give readers additional resources to practice fluency in an engaging way.
