Holly Diehl, Ed.D., is currently Assistant Professor at California University of Pennsylvania where she supervises student teachers and teaches reading methods courses. Additionally, she serves as Reading First Consultant for several elementary schools and provides professional development support to teachers in the primary grades. Prior to her work at CALU, she spent 18 years in the public schools as a classroom teacher, Title I resource teacher, curriculum coordinator, and elementary school principal. She has devoted her professional career to helping teachers teach reading and has published several articles on the topic of supporting struggling readers in the classroom.
