I use the pages in this book for one of my reading centers. Students do "partner social studies" and work together to complete the pages. They seem to enjoy the information, and there are lots of cheers when we check their work and they get answers correct. We have referred to the information in the book throughout the year as we've discussed various topics and made connections.

This is a great book that leads right from the first grade book. It has great practice pages and readings for the students. Very much grade level appropriate!
