Linda H. Pickett

Linda H. Pickett, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Education at Winthrop University specializing in elementary science education. She retired from the Miami-Dade County Public School District after 32 years of service. She taught science in an alternative school for at-risk students, as well as acting as a Professional Development Specialist in the district. Linda holds a Doctorate in Science Education from Curtin University of Technology, an Educational Specialist degree in teaching and learning from the University of Miami, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University.
