Just in time! We've identified two areas for growth for the upcoming year: #1 Improving Number Sense and #2 Improving Algebra I outcomes. This book will build upon what we've done in the lower grades with number lines and help us take these concepts all the way through our Algebra courses. Thank you TCM and Chris Shore!!!

I really appreciate the attention paid to the specific ways this strategy can build number sense in students of all grade levels. The teacher student interchanges clarify the math discourse that needs to happen more often in our math classrooms. The vignettes do a great job clarifying how the clothesline strategy can be used to surface student thoughts behind their actions. Thank you to the author for being such a leader in the mission to make our math classrooms thought filled centers.
