How to Become a Presenter/Trainer

Thank you for your interest in joining our team. We are looking for experienced, engaging educators to provide professional development training to teachers and administrators nationwide and internationally. This is a part-time, per diem position. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years classroom teaching experience as well as extensive experience in preparing and delivering motivating and pedagogically-sound professional development. 

Teacher Created Materials

We are looking for trainers for multiple grade levels, content areas, and instructional strategy methods, as well as those who can provide one-on-one coaching and modeling. Those with flexibility in their schedules for travel will be given priority. The steps for becoming a presenter/trainer are listed below. All interested applicants will be required to complete all of the steps. Please submit the items listed in Step #1 to presenters@teachercreatedmaterials.com to begin the process:

  • Step 1: Submit cover letter, resume, per diem fee, references, and a video* to presenters@teachercreatedmaterials.com
  • Step 2: Zoom interview with TCM’s Director of Professional Learning
  • Step 3: Observe a TCM professional learning workshop
  • Step 4: Co-present (with a TCM Academic Officer) a TCM professional learning workshop
  • Step 5: Independently present a TCM professional learning workshop

*Videos must demonstrate your presenting ability as it relates to providing professional development to educators, NOT students. Videos should be a minimum of 15 minutes and no more than 60 minutes in length. Videos can be provided through any digital link (i.e. Dropbox, YouTube, etc.).

Interested applicants will be contacted once Step 1 is completed and the video link has been received and reviewed by Teacher Created Materials.
