Each Booster Card includes 7 engaging activities that require students to apply different strategies and use different modalities in their reading practice. Each Booster Card also includes a Reading Response Checklist that prompts students to do their best work. Each card contains 100 minutes of activities for a total of 600 minutes. Teachers may assign specific activities to meet the instructional objective, or allow students to choose activities.
Overview Cards for teachers include a book summary, objectives, guided reading level, lexile level, academic vocabulary, and cross-content connections.
