A message from our Founder:
We have a responsibility to never stop improving.
At TCM we know from experience that that just because something worked yesterday doesn’t mean it’s the best way to work tomorrow.
There are a range of authentic voices and perspectives throughout our company that will push us to work harder, more efficiently, and hold us all accountable.
We approach everything with this in mind, from our business and product development practices to our civic responsibility in the community.
Proudly supporting education initiatives
TCM regularly makes donations to schools in need due to poverty and natural disasters.
Over the years we have partnered with the best authors, illustrators, researchers and professors, non-profit organizations, and education companies to develop creative and inspiring resources.
We know we can always be better, do better - and that mindset is part of the fabric of TCM.
Boys & Girls Clubs
At the Boys and Girls Club, young people can be proud, experience exceptional opportunities and simply - be themselves. Club challenges youth to expand their horizons and experience a world-view that is well beyond their own doorstep, by giving them the right tools for success.
For the past 60 years, the Boys & Girls Club has accomplished its goals through opening doors and providing a safe place to transform lives.
According to research, children struggle to learn when their basic needs, such as food and shelter, are not met.
Every fall, Teacher Created Materials participates in the Catarina's Club food drive to collect pasta, canned goods, and monetary donations from employees as well as local community members to stamp out child hunger in Orange County, CA.
Providing access to nutritional food, stable housing, and job training for youth.
Read Across America
Each year, on March 2, schools across the nation come together to celebrate the birthday and legacy of Theodore Geisel, more affectionately know as Dr. Seuss.
On this day, the staff at Teacher Created Materials takes part in the celebration of literacy by reading books to students, doing literacy-based activities, and participating in school beautification activities. It is an event that no one in the company wants to miss!
The National Education Association Read Across America day was launched in 1998. Every year in March, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Seuss by participating in various literacy-based activities.
Girl Scouts USA
TCM has been supporting the Girl Scouts USA by motivating young women to become active members of society, including offering career guidance.
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Girls, Inc of Orange County
We have been an ongoing supportive partner for Girls, Inc of Orange County, adhering to this organization's credo: “Inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold”
Girls Inc. of Orange County has changed lives of girls through year-round holistic, compensatory, and intentional programming focusing on STEM, financial literacy, sound body image, healthy relationships, and college and career readiness.
TCM has been one of the proud donors to the Samueli Academy for many years. Over the years, we have hired student interns to help them receive real-world work experience to better prepare them for college and career.
The mission of this education facility is to ignite the passion within all students to reach their greatest potential through a nurturing and innovative learning environment.
