    LaTonya G. Brown, Ed.D.

    Dr. LaTonya G. Brown is an accomplished K–12 educator, presenter, consultant, and advocate in the Metro-Atlanta area. Over the course of her more than thirty-year career as an educator, she has served as an elementary and middle school teacher, instructional coach, teacher support specialist, building-level administrator, and district leader. Currently, she is a coordinator in an urban district for the Early Intervention Program, a state funded program designed to provide academic support in reading and math for students in grades K–5 who have been identified as performing below grade level. Additionally, she serves on various district, state, and national review teams and has extensive experience with curriculum development, turnaround schools, and continuous school improvement strategy implementation. As a multifaceted professional, Dr. Brown is the managing member of LB Strategic Planning Group, LLC and the founder-CEO of LB Legacy Network, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young people from varied backgrounds. Through her dedication to education and expertise, Dr. Brown is shaping educational practices on a broader scale, positively impacting the trajectory of academically vulnerable students by creating pathways for them to achieve their full potential.
