Louise Pascale, Ph.D.

Louise Pascale, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Creative Arts in Learning Division at Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has worked for 25 years in the field of arts and education. Her research focuses on investigating ways singing impacts cultural reference, community building, and education. In 2005 she launched the Children’s Afghan Songbook Project, an internationally recognized project that strives to preserve and redistribute traditional Afghan children’s songs that were almost completely eradicated from Afghan culture.
