Do I need a license to access the TCM Learning Platform?

Yes, content and functionality featured in the TCM Learning Platform are only available with a license provided by your school or district, or purchased directly from Teacher Created Materials.

What technology do I need to access the TCM Learning Platform?

The TCM Learning Platform is a browser-based web application that can be accessed anywhere, at any time. There is no need to download any software onto admin, teacher, or student devices.

Is the TCM Learning Platform LTI compliant?

Yes, the TCM Learning Platform leverages LTI 1.3.

Can the TCM Learning Platform integrate with my learning management system (LMS)?

Yes, with Canvas, Schoology, Moodle, Google Classroom and more.

Which SSO options are available?

We support the following SSO systems: ClassLink & Clever, Use your existing integration for automatic provisioning and sign-in and Google Classroom, Teachers and students can sign in using their existing Google credentials.

Which rostering methods are supported on the TCM Learning Platform?

There are three flexible options for syncing teacher, class, and student data: OneRoster® API, a seamless integration via the industry-standard OneRoster protocol; CSV Upload, use our provided template for batch uploads; or Self-Roster and manually add and manage users directly on the platform.

Should we include our entire district in the roster?

Only include teachers, classrooms, and students who will actively use the TCM platform. Uploading unused users can result in excess license consumption.

I need to make some removals or additions. Can I upload just the changes to our roster?

No. Our system requires full-file uploads for every update. Submitting only the changes can cause unintended deletions of users or data.

Can Teacher Created Materials help me with CSV formatting?

You bet! We provide a detailed template with sample rows and offer email support or a quick screen-share sessions to help finalize your file.

Can I login to the TCM Learning Platform without an SSO connection?

No SSO? No problem. Users without an SSO will be provided with a username and password.

I don’t have an LMS integration. How can I get more information on manually creating admins, teachers, students, and classes?

Is the TCM Learning Platform accessible?

Yes, the application and all content on the TCM Learning Platform meeting WCAG2.1 AA compliance.

Does the TCM Learning Platform have text-to-speech?

Yes, TTS is available on all assessments and all content that opens in the document reader (PDFs, PPT).

Can users have multiple roles (e.g., teacher and administrator)?

No. Each user can have only one role. If someone needs to act in multiple roles, they will need a separate account with a different email address for each role.

Can parents access the TCM Learning Platform?

Yes, parents can leverage student logins (directly or via district LMS) to review the platform and content.

How do I submit feedback on content, functionality, or the user experience on the TCM Learning Platform?
