    Tom Rademacher, Acquisitions Editor

    Tom Rademacher has spent the last two decades dedicated to education as an award-winning teacher and acquisitions editor. As a classroom teacher, he was recognized as Minnesota’s 2014 Teacher of the Year and has shared his expertise at national conferences and TEDx events. His work has been featured in interviews with the BBC, Associated Press, and Education Week. In addition to teaching, he worked as an acquisitions editor, acquiring, developing, and occasionally writing books aimed at supporting educators in the challenging work of teaching. He is the author of 50 Strategies for Learning without Screens and has contributed writing to Huffington Post, Education Post, and City Pages. Tom earned both his Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing and his Master of Education in English Education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His undergraduate studies focused on storytelling, literature, and effective communication, while his graduate work centered on pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional strategies for English education. His academic background continues to inform his work in both teaching and publishing, ensuring that educators have access to high-quality resources and professional learning.
